Full membership is open to medical practitioners whether practising in the UK or overseas and Associate Membership to non-medically qualified persons at the discretion of the Committee.

The membership year runs from 1st January irrespective of the date of joining and those joining later in the year will receive all back issues of the International Journal of Obstetric Anesthesia (IJOA) for that year. Past issues of Pencil-point within the members area of the website. (Please note you will need to be logged in before you can view this).  Apply for membership online today!

Once you have applied for membership the payment method in your online account will automatically default to Direct Debit.  To make payment by credit/debit card please contact the OAA Secretariat and your online account will be updated accordingly.  Please note if you choose to pay by credit/debit card you will no longer be eligible for the reduced first year membership rate.

The original signed DDI form must be returned to the OAA Secretariat as the banks will not accept a photo/faxed copy.  Please include your full name and address on the back of your form so we can locate your record.

To renew your Membership:

Members with a UK bank account:

Set up a direct debit payment and receive £20 discount for next years' subscription.  Please print, then complete the Direct Debit Instruction Form and return to the OAA Secretariat by post,
OR download and return the renewal form by post with your payment.

Overseas Members and others who are unable to pay by Direct Debit:

Log into the Members' Area with your normal username and password (if you have forgotten these there is a reminder option below the login box at the bottom lefthand side of the home page) for payment by credit/debit card follow the secure payment link (via SagePay).

Those who have not paid by the first week in January will no longer be able to access the Members' Area.

Once on-line payment has been made, access to the Members' Area will be immediate.
